The VAN
The Challenge
In the film 'The Van' we had to try and show the van, as if it had just been found somewhere in an old barn. All of this footage will be used after the van is built to create a finished project for advertisement on social media.
The Shoot
When it came to the day of the shoot, we came in our own van and shot on the Panasonic GH5. For the first opening shot, the idea was to be a slider shot, pushing in with light beams coming in through some haze. Unfortunately, a friend was currently using the slider, so we had to improvise by filming handheld and walking backwards.
The Solution
We ended up creating a very cinematic film, and we can still re-use this footage when it comes to creating the finished van film for social media marketing.
